A mural painted by school kids on the side of a building next to a vacant lot with a fence around the disused lot. The fence has been up for a couple years, the mural about a year... the rusty paint cans are still sitting there. Eventually when the lot is built on the mural will be covered up as its the inside/outside wall of the other building.
Photo copyright me, mural copyright hard to say since it was done by an unorganized group. Mural copyright law... now that's an interesting read. It's amazing how many rights an artist who does a mural gains over that building and their work. EDIT: As an update the mural is no more. It has been painted over. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
